MERRILL TAYLOR, PE
Senior Project Manager
Merrill Taylor is a licensed Professional Engineer (81590) in the State of California with over ten years of experience in stormwater infrastructure planning, modeling, design, and implementation. Merrill has recently supported the modeling and design of nine regional stormwater control measure construction projects throughout Los Angeles County, three green streets between Los Angeles and San Diego, countless conceptual designs throughout Southern California and across the nation, and stormwater standard drawings and specifications; the experience gained during these efforts has afforded him a comprehensive understanding of the design limitations and performance required for progress towards municipal stormwater compliance.
Before joining Craftwater, he enjoyed almost nine years with Tetra Tech, where he gained valuable experience as technical lead and project manager for a broad range of projects including regional stormwater design efforts, standard drawings and specifications development, high-resolution water quality master planning, asset inspection, maintenance and tracking, and emergency maintenance design. Merrill has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Brigham Young University (Provo, UT), and has served as instructor for stormwater control modeling, construction, and maintenance trainings around the country.
