Brad Wardynski, PE

Senior Project Manager and COO

Brad Wardynski is a licensed Professional Engineer with over a decade of experience in watershed management and green stormwater engineering, both nationally and internationally. Brad has recently supported the development or implementation of 19 Watershed Management Programs throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, 5 San Diego County Water Quality Improvement Plans, and 11 implementation-oriented water quality master plans throughout California. His creative and technically sound strategies successfully reduced his clients’ stormwater compliance costs by over $1B. Brad is also currently managing three multi-benefit, multi-stakeholder, multi-year scientific studies funded by Los Angeles County’s Safe, Clean Water Program (total over $4M in contract value). Before joining Craftwater, he gained both theoretical and applied experience as technical lead or project manager for a broad range of projects including high-resolution stormwater compliance strategies, novel hydrologic and water quality modeling, stormwater design guidance and training, cloud-based stormwater project operation, stormwater facility monitoring and inspection, and web-based technical communication. Brad has engineering degrees from Michigan State and North Carolina State Universities, and has instructed for stormwater control measure design, construction, inspection, and maintenance trainings around the country.  Brad and his family live reclusively in the woods of Michigan, but occasionally emerge to hunt for Thai food and live music. Brad leads the Craftwater team in Star Wars fanaticism, and is known for his fermentation skills, apiculture, and social awkwardness.
